چکیده
Moringa (Moringa oleifera) seeds contain good nutritional constituents and several components that can potentially reduce cholesterol levels, namely oleic acid, phytosterols, dietary fiber. However, it tastes bitter, so needs to be treated the bitter taste disappears but does not affect much of content lower cholesterol. This study aims get moringa are have potential prevent hypercholesterolemia. The soaking treatment peeled in either water or 3.5% NaCl salt, followed by 80 minutes boiling, resulted flour with a very low taste. acid seed from salt boiling for 40 is still high, range 69–72%. Oleic known improve blood profiles. one absorption inhibitors, 27–29 mg/100 g dw, higher than control (15 dw). fiber (total fiber, soluble insoluble fiber) generally change after treatment. results showed 24 hours, minutes, produced used develop hypercholesterolemia prevention foods.

The antileishmanial activity of extracts and phytoconstituents of Moringa oleifera Lam. was investigated in vitro against promastigotes of Leishmania donavani. The 70% ethanolic extract of roots and the methanolic extract of leaves showed moderate inhibitory activity with IC50 values of 83.0 microg/ml and 47.5 microg/ml, respectively. Antileishmanial activity of the methanolic extract of leaves...
